About Us

Lucy & Colin Harrison

We are a husband and wife team who love the region, the stories and the history. Our enthusiasm is infectious and we aim to make your tour with us the highlight of any holiday.

Our 2006 clients will know of the recent addition to the team, which will no doubt be learning stories from a very early age! We may however have to make older additions to our team whilst baby learns to drive…

Lucy’s original training was in ancient history and archaeology, Colin’s in outdoor education and we have pooled our knowledge to ensure your trips are informative and safe – oh yes, and fun…!

We founded Touchstone Tours in 2003, following a holiday looking at ancient sites in Cornwall when we realised that there were lots of people who wanted to see these but didn’t really know what they were looking at. So we started offering day tours of local history and legends.  

We had so much positive feedback and people wanting us to book their whole holidays that we now do just that – organise trips across the UK and specialist holidays in our area.
