Walking Without Worries

Exactly what it says, we deal with everything so all you have to do is put one foot in front of the other and enjoy the views.

No need to worry about the route - we will choose the most suitable for your location, fitness level and prevailing weather conditions.

No need to worry about the navigation - our guides are all fully qualified and have worked in these hills and abroad for years, they woun't get you lost.

No need to worry about accommodation - all the guest houses and hotels we use come highly recommended and range from 5 to 2 star depending on your prefrence.

Transport is taken care of as well, if you're driving we will give you detailed directions to the start of a walk where your guide will meet you, or we will arrange for your transport to the start of the walk.

The whole idea is that if you are coming from London or Glasgow, for example, all you have to do is get on the train and we will deal with everything else for you, right up to getting you back onto the right train at the end of the weekend.

To give you a flavour of a weekend here is a quick schedule

Friday 20th June

Leave London Euston on 18.08 to Penrith arrive 21.25

Taxi to Keswick checkin at accommodation 21.45 then out for a bite to eat or a couple of beers

Saturday 21st June

Up and meet your guide at 09.30, quick discussion of the route and then off to the start of the walk. Lets go for a classic and head for Hellvelyn, so it's a short drive over to Glenridding and a whole choice of diffrent routes up to the summit. Once on the top we would then head back down the other side and be picked up in Thirlmere.

Expect to be back in Keswick for around 17.00 so you will have plenty of time to get ready for the evening. Keswick has numerous restaurants and pubs that serve food and most tastes are catered for.

Sunday 22nd June

An early start if you want another full days walk or a slightly more chilled start if you wish. We'll probably stay more local today exploreing the hills around Keswick and maybe taking you off to some of the quiter areas.

The day will end at around 16.00 so you have plenty of time to meet your taxi back to Penrith and the 16.45 train back to London. The train gets in at 20.57 and although it will have been a full weekend the clean air and amazing views should have left you refreshed and ready for the week ahead.
